The Trust is based on two acute sites with most acute medical services and specialties duplicated on each site.
You will be joining a group of dynamic and friendly consultants in an established team. The role will be involved in developing and embedding high quality care for older patients in a number of different clinical settings.
The services are expanding, making this an exciting time to join and develop plans to expand sub-specialities such as Front of house frailty, movement disorder, acute inpatients, ortho-geriatrics, surgical liaison and community services.
As such the service can accommodate individuals specialist interests, and develop a posts job plan around these.
You can be in the countryside in less than ten minutes from all major towns and cities in the area, with some of the most stunning scenery and outdoor space in the country.

Requirements for the post:
UK based applicants:
- Hold CCT, or within 6 months of completing CESR
- Specialist diploma in geriatric medicine
- Consultant experience in geriatric medicine
