The Trust is based on two acute sites with most acute medical services and specialties duplicated on each site.
The service is looking to appoint a Consultant in Respiratory medicine who will further develop key areas identified for development including COPD, lung cancer, and pulmonary fibrosis.
The respiratory units comprise consultant colleagues, nursing support (including lung cancer, COPD and respiratory specialist nurses) and a dedicated respiratory ward offering NIV.
The service has a fully commissioned EBUS facility, pleural service and sleep service.
Successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the existing respiratory services as well as acute “front of house” general inpatient medicine, outpatient services and provision of weekend working in acute medicine.
Research and other specialist interests are welcomed and encouraged.

Requirements for the post:
UK based applicants:
- Hold CCT, or within 6 months of completing CESR
- Specialist diploma in respiratory medicine
- Consultant experience in respiratory medicine
