Job DescriptionThis is an opportunity for overseas candidates to join a highly functioning teaching hospital trust in the North West of England.
Looking for associate specialists to work in their Urgent Care Centre the candidate will assess, diagnose and treat minor injuries and illnesses that often include:
- strains & sprains
- suspected uncomplicated fractures
- minor head injuries
- cuts and grazes
- bites and stings
- minor scalds, burns
- ear and throat infections
- skin infections and rashes
- eye problems
- feverish illness
- abdominal pain
There is always scope for more serious illness or injury to arrive at the centre however so emergency medicine specialists would be well suited to this role.
More serious injuries may also require referral to the neighboring ED's with major trauma centre. This is a 10PA role with no on call.
The local area is one of the most stunning in the UK and will suit those looking to settle with family or without, in an exciting role that is separate from the cut and thrust of large scale Emergency Departments.
