N Consultant in Breast Radiology

Job Description

Specialists in Breast Radiology looking to work as Consultants in the NHS are invited to apply for a fixed-term consultant position with the an ambitious NHS trust in the South East.

Working with the larger General Hospital within the Foundation Trust, the radiology department are looking to expand their breast imaging service and by enlisting the services of an additional consultant in breast radiology. Joining a team of four committed breast radiologists based you wil be assisted by 2 advanced radiographic practitioners  stereotactic biopsy and wire placement and four film reading radiographers providing screen reading.

The trust's High Risk MR breast screening service was implemented in 2014 and the breast unit has recently been relocated to to new state of the art department in a separate wing of the main hospital.

Job plans will allow for flexibility and discussions around job planning are welcome.

Requirements for this position are:

  • FRCR or equivalent recognised qualifications
  • IELTS or OET
  • Extensive experience in breast radiology services
  • NHS experience is highly desirable but not essential.
