Job Description

An excellent NHS hospital in the UK is seeking a Consultant in Dermatology with a focus on skin cancer and paediatric dermatology. The department consists of three experienced consultants and is supported by a diverse team of middle-grade doctors. This role is open to both UK-based and international candidates, with preference for those holding GMC Specialist registration or equivalent.

Portfolio support (formerly CESR) is available and can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS

  • GMC Registration with a licence to practice is required for this role, and individuals with a special interest in skin cancer and paediatric dermatology are encouraged to apply.
  • The salary will range from £105,504 and £139,882 per annum, based on experience.

CORE DUTIES OF THIS ROLE

  • Deliver high-quality dermatology care, specializing in skin cancer and paediatric dermatology.
  • Engage in the education and training of junior staff and medical students.
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and continuing medical education.
  • Contribute to the Cornwall Skin Cancer MDT and other department activities.
