Working with a two site NHS Foundation Trust in the North of England this is an opportunity to develop your career in NHS Emergency Medicine. The post will also allow you to explore some sub-specialities of emergency medicine by offering some non-clinical time as part of the role.
Rated 'Good' by the CQC the hospitals have been recognised as some of the best for trainees in the region to learn from a supportive department.
Each successful applicant will allocated an Education Supervisor to ensure support for professional development and a weekly protected half-day teaching session covering clinical and managerial subjects. Research and audit projects are encouraged by the trust.
One of the Hospitals is designated as a Major Trauma Unit in the Regional Trauma Network.
Both hospitals have four resuscitation bays, including paediatrics resus areas with X-ray and ultrasound facilities.
