Fantastic opportunity for specialists in Gastroenterology who are looking to attain their CESR whilst working as an NHS Locum consultant. A teaching hospitals trust in Yorkshire & Humberside region are looking to appoint two Gastroenterologists who are experienced in their field and are looking to develop in a subspecialty of their choice.
With the trust providing acute and community services for approximately 800,000 people in the region it is a busy and dynamic hospital with well complimented acute & gastroenterology departments.
There are 9 Gastroenterology consultants across the trust, and the department provides all aspects of gastroenterology and specialist hepatology enjoying excellent surgical and full MDT support. There is a dedicated Endoscopy Unit and excellent radiology facilities on site.
The specific job plan will be discussed in detail prior to appointment as it can be flexible to work with the individuals requests and expertise. Additional PAs can be offered to a maximum of 12PAs.
General Medicine on call is an essential commitment for this position and as such applicants will require MRCP to apply for this role.

Requirements for this position are:
- MRCP UK
- IELTS or OET
- UK experience desirable
- Within 12 months of attaining CESR
- SCE in Gastroenterology is desirable
