Job Description

Join a renowned learning disability team at one of the largest healthcare trusts in the UK. As an experienced General Adult or Learning Disability Psychiatrist, you'll have the opportunity to provide senior medical expertise to their Community Learning Disability Team. The Learning Disability Team, part of our trust, collaborates closely with local Social Care Teams, Specialist Education Departments, Residential Services, Forensic Services, and Inpatient services to ensure safe and timely care for individuals facing mental health challenges within the context of Intellectual Disability.

You'll have the opportunity to provide senior clinical expertise in assessing and treating individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Additionally, you'll be part of a vibrant medical community, attending staff meetings and joining a well-established peer group for community consultants in learning disability.
