The Department & Team
The Obstetrics & Gynaecology department is a dynamic and forward-looking team, focusing on the continuous evolution of services to meet the needs of the population. The department performs approximately 2,000 operations annually, including a significant number of laparoscopic surgeries. The team is supported by a dedicated Early Pregnancy Service, an Assisted Reproductive Unit, and specialist clinics in areas such as Urogynaecology, Colposcopy, and Gynae-Oncology. With an emphasis on comprehensive patient care, the department also manages approximately 1,000 births per year, providing high-quality maternity services with 24-hour anaesthetic cover and advanced obstetric facilities.
