An excellent opportunity for a consultant with a broad background in acute and general medicine, with experience in managing patients with Frailty to join an expanding team.

Primarily this post will incorporate the management of the Frailty Unit, situated in one of Londons better performing hospitals, providing a community-facing frailty service. The role will include working collaboratively with a range of outward facing community frailty services.
The role will span both acute and community settings.
This role would be suitable for consultants with experience in acute and general medicine, who have gained experience in geriatric / care of the elderly, or indeed frailty specific services.
You will receive support from an enhanced MDT, including junior doctors, nurses, matrons, therapists and Surrey Medical Network Ltd. social care staff.
This post will largely be based at the General Hospital but will also support the wider community frailty services.
Further investment and development of the service is underway, including a £1million project.

Requirements for the role:
- CCT or within 6 months of completing CESR
- Specialisation in acute/general/geriatric medicine
- Consultant experience
