An opportunity for a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to secure a locum consultant psychiatry post fully supported of CESR Portfolio Pathway and progression towards specialist registration with the GMC. This post has been specifically designed with international applicants in mind, offering experienced psychiatrists the chance to enter the NHS at the consultant grade, reflective of their equivalent overseas experience.
CESR Portfolio Pathway support will be offered through a local programme during the fixed term contract, with the view to progressing to the specialist register and a substantive post with the trust.

WHAT IS THE GENERAL ADULT PSYCHIATRY DEPARTMENT & TEAM LIKE?
The Community Mental Health Teams provide a service to the adult population (18-65 years) across Kent. The teams provide a service to a mixed urban and rural population. The community mental health teams are Multidisciplinary teams providing services for adults of working age group diagnosed with mental health disorders.
