An NHS hospital in the South West of England is looking for a Consultant Medical Oncologist with an interest in breast and a second tumour site (flexible). The Oncology department comprises a team of consultant oncologists, supported by a large team of middle-grade doctors, specialty trainees, and clinical fellows. This Oncology job is open to both international applications and UK-based doctors, though those with European Specialist or a suitable Royal College qualification are most encouraged to apply.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) . Anyone with an interest in breast and a second tumour site should apply. The salary will be between £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, dependent on experience and grade.
CORE DUTIES OF THIS ROLE
Manage breast patients and one other tumour site, to be agreed upon pre-interview.
Work closely with a regional plastic surgery team for wide local excision and sentinel lymph node biopsies.
Participate in clinical trials, including those for systemic therapies and ocular melanoma.
Contribute to the Immunotherapy Forum and support regional immunotherapy initiatives.
