An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join a long-established CAMHS Emotional and Behavioural team within a London NHS Trust. This substantive 8PA role is ideal for a motivated and collaborative psychiatrist seeking a better work-life balance in a well-supported, multidisciplinary service.

ROLE DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
CCT or equivalent postgraduate training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
MRCPsych or European Specialist Qualification
Eligibility for Section 12(2) and Responsible Clinician status under the Mental Health Act
Experience in multidisciplinary team settings and psychiatric assessment of children and adolescents
An interest in leadership, teaching, or service development is advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination for young people aged 0–18
Serve as joint Clinical Team Leader within a well-structured leadership team
Provide consultation and senior clinical oversight across the service
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately 1 in 16) supported by a team of trainees
Supervise junior doctors and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education
Engage in quality improvement, clinical audit, and research initiatives
