The service has a range of highly skilled Clinical Psychologists, CAMHS Nurses, Child Therapists (trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, IPT etc), Systemic and Family Psychotherapists and CAMHS Practitioners (who comprise professionals from a range of other eligible disciplines such as social work and occupational therapy). The CAMHS has integrated Early Intervention and Prevention and Child Health Psychology functions as well as Family Wellbeing Practitioners who support GP Clusters in the area.
The post holder will be provide assessment, formulation and management of significant developmental, behavioural and mental health disorders occurring in children and adolescents 0-18 years. The post holder will participate in relevant strategic and operational meetings and contribute to team management processes of the Community CAMHS teams, including clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
