Supportive role for geriatricians or elderly care physicians looking to attain CESR and work as NHS Consultants.
Working for a well established Teaching Hospital Trust, the successful applicant will join a team of 26 consultants across both hospitals in the trust. Geriatricians with interests in all subspecialties will be considered including frailty, orthogeriatrics, acute geriatrics, rehab and stroke medicine however some general medicine involvement is essential. Successful consultants must in time be included on the GIM on call rota.
The trust will offer full support with CESR applicants and those requiring Tier 2 visas.
Financial relocation packages can be offered to those required to relocate for the role.
Requirements for this position are:
- MRCP UK
- IELTS or OET
- Good experience in elderly care or geriatric medicine
- Ideally within 12 months of successful CESR application

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in General Neurology for an exciting new post developed as part of new collaborative working between two NHS trusts in the North East of England. CESR is supported by the service with direct input from clinical leads.

The service is a busy regional Neuroscience centre with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Neurophysiology, Stroke and Rehabilitation departments with access to psychological services. You will join a team of experienced Consultant Neurologists.

The trusts provides a comprehensive range of acute services from two hospital sites with some specialised services serving a tertiary catchment area of 1.2 million residents.

Respiratory consultants with aspirations to attain consultant status in the NHS via CESR or CCT are urged to apply.
Joining an established and settled team of 8 respiratory consultants across both sites in the trust, the department has well managed services in lung cancer, sleep, bronchiectasis and COPD.
Whilst any subspecialty is welcome those with asthma, ILD or cancer interests would be especially desirable.
This hospital in the trust is concentrated on the Respiratory outpatient activity and there are established and proactive day hospitals administering omalizumab and IVIG, flush portacaths in addition to well established pathways for ambulatory care of PE and cellulitis.
The hospital has 182 acute medical beds and Monday - Friday all admissions are assessed by the dedicated acute physicians team which allows for a steady and controlled follow of mostly respiratory patients with some general medical patients to the respiratory team.
There is some on call with this position.
Successful applicants will be encouraged to contribute to the teaching provision at the neighboring hospital in the trust.

- Extensive experience in Respiratory Medicine
- At least 3 years consultant experience, even if outside the UK

A district general hospital in Yorkshire are looking to recruit experienced deramtologists on either 2 year fixed-term contracts or permanently.
The post holder will be responsible for the planning, delivery and improvement of clinical care in Dermatology at the hospital, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide a high quality Dermatology service.
Requirements for this position are:
- MRCP or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience, specialising in Dermatology
- IELTS or OET (exemptions can be offered)
- SCE in dermatology desirable
The hospital is an associate teaching hospital to the nearby medical school and an organiser of PACES examinations. Therefore excellent teaching skills are also desirable.
