ROLE DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
CCT or equivalent postgraduate training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
MRCPsych or European Specialist Qualification
Eligibility for Section 12(2) and Responsible Clinician status under the Mental Health Act
Experience in multidisciplinary team settings and psychiatric assessment of children and adolescents
An interest in leadership, teaching, or service development is advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination for young people aged 0–18
Serve as joint Clinical Team Leader within a well-structured leadership team
Provide consultation and senior clinical oversight across the service
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately 1 in 16) supported by a team of trainees
Supervise junior doctors and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education
Engage in quality improvement, clinical audit, and research initiatives

A district general hospital pathology team in Sussex, UK, are looking for a Locum Consultant Histopathologist with an interest in Gynaecological Pathology. This histopathology role is open to both international and UK-trained candidates, however some familiarity with NHS reporting is needed to be considdered for the role. A European Specialist Qualification or FRCPath Histopathology is required.
Anyone requiring portfolio support (formally known as CESR) can have their required support discussed on a case-by-case basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS
Applicants should have a medical degree, full GMC registration, and experience in histopathology and cytopathology. Holding a CCT or equivalent is preferred. The salary will align with NHS consultant pay scales, dependent on experience or grade.
